2 and a half to 3 litres is more than enough, don't put 4 in as stated above you'll car will start smoking.As for the spark plugs you don't need to worry about the gap as there all pre gaped.

spark plugs come more or less pre gapped now, yours should be about 1.2 mmthe engine holds about 4 litres thats almost a full container full.
