Question:
Car has no dash lights or tail/parking lights. But it does have head lights, brake lights, turn signals, hazard, & dome lights. I have checked the fuses & bulbs, they are all good. everything worked yesterday. Does anyone have a clue what may be wrong with it & how to fix it?
Answers:
Getting irritated, would like some advice?
first of all you need to check the fuse real good for the parking lights because the dash lights and parking lights are on the same circuit, then call the dealer and see if there is a recall for the vehicle because they have had allot of problems with them. Last but not least on some of those vehicles the plug comes out of the back of the dash specially the ones with digital dashes so you have to take the dash apart and make sure that it is pushed all the way in. If you do all of these things and you still don't have lights then you may have to replace the headlight switch.get rid of the pontiac -back away from the grand am now turn and run real fast go get away while you can dont look back keep going hurry its going to keep you in the dark if you dont get rid of it ==run baby run
Check out alldata.com, there has been recalls on this particular model. if it is one of the recalls listed then you can take it to a pontiac dealership and they will fix it with no charge to you. Hope this help.
Where can i send a car picture to get it looked at.?
Double check the fuses. The dash lights and tail lights are on the same fuse. I would replace this fuse anyway even if it looks good and see what happens. It may also be a bad connection in the fuse box that you could try to clean.More Questions & Answers ...
