what makes tail light icon stay on but no lights are blown?

It's because of the age of the motor. Things get wore out when the get old......;)

Can Body filler be applied to wood ?

If the car is used in hot weather, it is a good idea, but if the engine is in good shape, I would prefer a 10-40 high mileage oil. 20-50 is no good as a winter oil if you are in a northern climate, your car won't start on a really cold day. 20-50 will only act as 50 weight when it is really, really hot, by the way.

My Subaru outback keeps stalling any suggestions!!?

20w50 is good if you've got low oil pressure. However, be aware that it is like molasses in cold weather, and it could make your car hard to start when the temp bottoms out.

2001 Ford Expedition Check Engine Light.?

20-50 seems a bit extreme. I use to run 15-50 in my Subaru, but that was a turbo charged car. I would suggest a high mileage motor oil in a 10-40 grade.

Right side flashers work. Left side does not. Is there something in the fuse box to look for?

Check your owners manual. It will tell you what oil to use for various temperature ranges. STick with the the car maker suggest. Some people believe that you need to go to a thicker oil as the engine gets older. I don't prescribe that at all. I have a Dodge Dakota with a 5.2 liter with 120,000 mile on it and I still use 5W30 as designated by Dodge.

How many miles do you rotate tires?

use what has been used in it for 200,000 miles!, apparently something has been done right to get that kind of mileage, as long as it isn't using oil I wouldn't worry about it, just drive it and enjoy it until it's final day comes.

My 2005 Nissan Sentra cranks excessively when starting. Does anyone know what the problem is?

you shouldnt that is horrible advise. 20w50 is a very thick oil and your engine will have to work extra hard to pump that stuff and get it flowing espscially if it gets cold where you live. you should sitck with 10w30 or 5w30 depending on the car and engine. Dont let mileage scare you into thinking you need a different type of oil. Most people that use 20w50 either burn a ton of oil or leak it and the thickness will lesson both of those but it is very hard on the engine.

1979 AC el tigre won't start?

Is your oil pressure low? Engine making noise? Burning and or leaking oil at a high rate?
If no..... use what you've been using..
20w-50 is reserved for engines on they're last or racing engines with very loose clearances.
I'm guessing the guy that told you, was a old guy? Or someone that heard it from a old guy?
20w-50 also shears down to a 40 weight after a couple thousand miles anyway..
shearing oil may leave deposits.
