Replacing glass is a hassle without the proper equipment. Let the folks who do it everyday do it for you.
Well, this is kinda difficult on alot of cars.Especially ford because they rivet their glass to the regulator channel.You need to remove the door panel then brake the rivets to remove the main piece of glass out of the window channels.the front and rear window channels them selves need to be removed to make room so you can slide the vent glass frame forward. But there will be 10mm bolts that hold the vent glass channel to the inside of the door shell.remove them then slide the vent glass frame forward and than pull upward out of the door frame.
This takes some experience and the right tools to do without messing something up. If I was you I would call a local auto glass company to do it.Most will come to your house and change this out.Their labor should be around $80.00 to do it plus the cost of the glass its self.They can order the glass for you and install it.Trust me, its worth the cost cause its likely you wont do it right and possibly do more damage and still need to call someone to fix that plus what you broke.
Some reputable ones to look for in the phone book are Auto glass center,safe light auto glass,triumph auto glass.
