no it wont have a warranty on it and if the buyer hpi checks it it will be registered cat d, cat d will be given from anything from a broken window, stolen recovered or in a minor shunt

2005 Mustang with 10k miles! Is this normal?

cat d means that vehicle has been declared an insurance total loss. basically meaning that the cost to repair the car exceeds usually 75 - 85 percent of the value of the car. but that is usually calculated using manufacturer's parts. i would have thought that the original warranty would therefore only apply to parts of the vehicle that have remained un damaged. any parts that you replace will be covered under warranties on the individual parts.

Camry wont turn over. Starter and alternator new but no spark. Changed dist cap rotor, wires and plugs. What?

i would definately think that it's resale value would be affected. as the accident it had been involved in would be in the log book.

My turning signal doesnt work?

It seem unusual for an 06 reg car to be cat D write off. Cat D is minor accident damage or stolen recovered ( after insurance paid out). It will always be worth less than a none cat D car. Also some insurance companies may get sniffy about insuring it. They can be good value depending on the fault. I would avoid those that are accident damaged and go for stolen/recovered or those that the interior has been destroyed in some way. Anything that affects the integrity of the vehicle - avoid.

i have a 2005 gmc sierra single cab.How easy is it to tint it? and how do i tint it?

Yes it keeps its own reg. No it wont get warranty work done. The retail value will be somewhere in the region of 40% less than a straight one even when sorted.

my 1997 nissan sentra thermostat bolts wont tighten enough to hold a seal, how do i fix it?

A cat D will always be a cat D for the life of the vehicle and will affect the insurance quote if you can get a company who will cover you sometimes you can get one that will last you a while but i would steer clear if i were you.

i would be very cautious of this vehicle,as cat d is for light damage so why would the insurance write it off as a cat d.
