Where is the dipstick for transmission located on a 1999 OLDS Alero?

Question:

Answers:

Why operate "clutch" for shifting gears?

look for a red colored loop (dipstick) on the firewall side of the engine. It might say "trans lock" on it . either way that will be it.
ps I have a '99 malibu that does not have a dipstick(unserviceable except for oil pan). and i might be wrong. check driver's side for that red dipstick.
sorry!
