Question:
My car makes a loud nosie in the backseat but i haven' been able to figure out what it is and some mechanics say it might be the brakes but i checked that out so what else could it be? and what would be the cost to fix that ASAP!!!
Answers:
What do you think it is and what should I do?
I'll make this brief. Aloud noise from the backseat is probably coming from the rear axle bearings. Since I can not hear the sound I am only guessing. For a small fee take in to a reputable garage you trust and let then check it out to be safe. I had the same problem with my 2003 Focus making a loud noise as well. It was the left rear axle bearing. This is inside the drum and comes as one unit so if the bearing is out the drum also has to be replaced as well.My 97 dodge avenger's composite headlites are starting to yellow, is there anyway to clear them up?
someone doing it in the back seat! lolwhen a tire says 36 psi what is the conversion to pounds on a gauge?
could be a bad shock. Does it happen going straight? cornering? acceleration? Check to see you don't have anything loose in the trunk area also. Something by the spare tire well could be rolling around. How do I remove rust from a key?
If you hit a pump or apply the brakes and it makes that noise, it would sound like suspension. Have somebody sit in the back seat and Identify the noise and were it's coming from. Pull the rear tires side to side and see if there is play in the bearings. Push up and down on the rear end of the car and when you release from the car see how long it takes to stop. If it continues to bounce up and down, then it's the suspension and should be checked out and replaced if need be.More Questions & Answers ...
