I have a 2002 ford escape and I'm thinking my wiper fluid pump is shot. When I try to get the fluid to spray nothing comes out, and i hear no pump going. Where is this pump? I tryed finding it in my Haynes Repair book.

They used to be under the Washer fluid container. Most cars now have submersible pumps inside the washer fluid container. Check there if no one else knows for sure.At what point can you take a new car back?

well its in the bottom of the tank, pull back the wheel well, pull the pump out. it works but the filter screen is blocked up with gooy gunk. clean with hot soapy water or just buy another pump it comes with 1. Washer Pump and ReservoirRemoval and Installation
