Well not really although with the new cars they may not get as good as performance as you would like. The real issue here is that it can be dangerous to the people riding in the car as carbon monoxide can migrate into it. Not worth the risk have it replaced. No and it should be replaced with a stock muffler.
1998 gmc sierra torque specs from intake up?
All mufflers have a small hole to let out water. For every gallon of Gasoline burned your engine gives off a gallon of water in the form of liquid and vapor. Having said that....if there IS a small hole ( rusted etc ) then the main thing to keep in mind is the exhaust fumes.....Carbon Monoxide......drive with your window down a little...just a little to insure that the fumes can't and won't overcome you as I'm sure you live in a area that's cold right now and you are driving with all windows rolled up to keep all heat in. Get it fixed as soon as it's practical and be careful until then.I scratched my new 2007 mustange what is the best way to fix?
