Is an auto with 200K miles worth keeping?

Question:
I have a 1995 auto with about 200K and it's been kept up. What's the life expectancy of this even though it's been kept well? It's a nissan and currently runs great. Should I push it? I would like to keep it another 50+K.

will a 235 size tire fit on a 8" rim?

I ran a Toyota past 250K. The real question is what is it costing you to drive? At that mileage, the value of the vehicle is low - if cost is low, keep on rolling.... I tend to keep them when I am at high mileage. You practically give them away when you sell them.

1994 GEO Metro won't start will someone please help me?

As long as it has been kept up and is not abused, it should last just fine. I once owned a 1980 Mustang and it had 260k miles when I sold it, and the guy I sold it to still drives it occasionally.

Cold air blowing when heater is on?

If it has been maintained regularly with no issues, there's no reason to get rid of it now, unless a brand new vehicle is within your budget.

Can anyone identify this mysterious squeaking from my engine?

Any car is worth keeping as long as it isn't giving you trouble. I wouldn't rush to get rid of it till you start getting large repair bills out of it. A few hundred a year is reasonable with the age of the car.

I sometimes smell radiator water?

You should never get rid of a car if it's not giving you trouble. A new car will cost you hundreds a month. I routinely keep cars for over 100k miles, until they cost more to run than a new one.

how can i do a wheel alignment on my own?

Depends on the rest of the car? In other words is the body in good condition, how is the interior. If it is running good does not use any oil or knock you are probably ok. I have seen Hondas and for that matter Nissans go for over 250K+ miles if you have taken care of it. Also, depends on your finances of course but all in all if it runs good and looks good, keep it.

My car leaves a trail of gasoline every time i drive. What could be the problem?

Sounds like it's "tried and true".Keep keeping it up and keep the big bucks you'd have to shell out for a new one in your wallet.Women like fat wallets!!
