still have a problem with it running ruff ( spitting and sputtering wanting to die when slow down) can't seem to narrow it down. anyone with similar problems

those have a problem with the ignition module inside the distributor housing they are sometimes difficult to diagnose under intermittent conditions also you've got to check and verify fuel pump output the other thing on those are the plastic octupus under the intake they have been known to come out a little causing issues compression and timing and vacuum should also all be checked and verified as well as plug wire routing and plug gap ask your self is it running better now or worse before i did the tune-up if its worse you now know where to start if its the same or better then start with the easy stuff vacuum leaks timing then go after that ignition module assembly in the distributor i bet thats where your problem lies.
