car wont start when it's cold outside.. what should i do?

the best place is somewhere that you are comfortable with. If it is a dealer or a Pennzoil Ten Minute or a Valvoline Instant Oil Change. Doesn't really matter just make sure you are comfortable with how much you are paying and what they are doing such as checking all vital fluids and tire pressure and if applicable greasing the front end. Try a couple of different places and go from there. I own and operate 3 quick lubes in Michigan and have for the last 19 years. I would love everyone in my town to come to me but I am not bias the dealer is a great place to go as well just about convenience. Just like going to a 7-11 to but something you will pay more but it is better than parking in a huge lot and walking through a huge department store to save a couple of bucks some times. Same things apply here. I charge more than most dealers but the dealers around my town don't offer a quick lube service yet. Some are talking about it.

The absolute best place is the service department of the dealership where the vehicle was bought from. Most car makers offer quick oil change services at their dealerships like fords "quick lane" and others and you will get a factory filter and oil. Avoid at all costs quick oil change places like "jiffy lube" or any of the other fast oil change franchises they have been known to do such shoddy work like forgetting to tighten or completely leave out the drain plug and often try to sell you unnecessary services which they often charge you for but don't do.If you are handy and don't mind getting a little dirty you can always do it yourself. The investment in tools (the correct size wrench for the drain plug,a oil filter wrench,a drain pan and drive on ramps to raise the front of your vehicle so that you can crawl underneath the vehicle) are a one (1) time investment for less than $50.00 and oil is always on sale at some parts store along with the filter. As for the drain oil most larger parts stores like "autozone" will take your drain oil for you no charge.
