Forget the tire deal all to gether, how do you remove break dust so that I can restore the wheels?
Mass airflow sensor, maybe it needs a tune up, Throttle position sensor lots of possibilities. I would start by cleaning the mass airflow sensor first. Then doing a tune up.Bought new battery still have to jump it to start it what could be the problem?
Do a tune up, get the codes checked by a diagnostic, Change the air filter, clean the throttle body. Anything else, ask again :)any type of backfiring?

all the answers i read are good for you but plugs and wires is the most important then fuel filter and then sensors next. Can a car battery die when you are driving?
From what your describing it sounds like either a fueling or spark issue. How to estimate my ride`s power? on horse power. thanks?
Check your plugs, wires and coil packs. I'll go out on the limb and say that your plugs and wries need to be replaced.
Any idea whats wrong with my oldsmobile alero?
It could be a fueling issue as well, but if it's not the plugs / wires the sure fire way to find out would be to take it in and have it disagnosed.
2002 Chevy Blazer transmission problems?
When you hit the accelerator and it feels really bogged down and has a "broken up" or "jittery" take off is most likely caused because your wires are arcing and they would need to be replaced. Make sure your spark plugs are gapped correctly. If it's been longer than 6 months since you replaced the plugs, change them anyways.
Why does my car overheat at higher speed?
If all that doesnt fix it. like I said before I'd go get it diagnosed to figure out exactly what it is before you start blindly replacing expensive parts.
Anyone know how to take off a shimmy shock ?
do a complete tune up, start with plugs, oil change, air filter, injector cleaner, if its still happening change 02 sensors (kinda expensive so use a diagnostic tool first)HELP!! How can i get engine oil out of my car carpet?
i am going to make a couple of assumptions. a) the vehicle has an automatic transmission, and b) the check engine light is not on. sounds like the transmission is stuck in gear, or the torque converter is stuck in rotary flow (this little fluid coupling is capable of increasing power, but not in this state.) personally i would either take it to some one who knows a little more about the different possibilities, it could be engine related or transmission, or even the brakes could be an issue, but from what i understand, that transmission has a poor record. All previous entries may be the problem a good diagnostic scan would point to those problems. From my own personal experience, it sounds like the engine is "loading-up". The cause would be a partially plugged catalytic converter.
Where is the water pump generally located?
i have had the same problem in a couple of different cars, and it always turns out to be the spark plugs and wires. have you checked those out yet?More Questions & Answers ...
