93 Ford Explorer Engine Issue... Tachometer?

Question:
I own a 1993 Ford Explorer 4.0L V6 (OHV style) the engine has about 33K on it, and 81L on the body.. VERY LOW MILEAGE.. My question is this; when Im at a stop with my car the car does something funny.. The Tachometer "dips" when at idle, the tach goes down a tiney bit, but then goes back up to idle, in the cabin you feel a little shake, also you hear a noise from the engine, kind of like a tap... I know the transmission is slowly going and slips here and there, but I doubt the engine issue is due to the tranny's issue... PLEASE HELP

Removed fuel pump assmbly from tank of 2.5L, 86 olds calais, will it work in tank of 3.0L?

well, about the stop sign thing u might need a tune-up my friend,,,,and the tap sound is a clearance between the rocker arms and the valves...and making an adjustment may cost you...but I'm not sure about the price..oh,,,by the way.that's a good car.93' with 33k.nice ;)

Where can I go in Central NJ to have the tint removed from my car windows?

this is more than likely... a vacuum leak, if it's not that, a 40 dollar tune-up is worth a stab, because then the next thing is low compression... and that's not any fun...
