Question:
1999 Camry. 4 Cyls, ~88,000 mi. I change the oil every 3,000 mi.
Last yr I got new battery, 2 new struts, new egr valve. Last month, I had the transmission rebuilt.
I thought the above would mean no car trouble for a long time. But since last week, I've had trouble turning the engine twice. (When I turn ignition, either nothing happens, or engine sputters...however, it does eventually start & drives with no prob). Also last week, 'Check Engine' sign started coming on/off & while on a drive, I noticed the rpm drop from 3 to 1 suddenly (felt like engine lost power for a sec).
The rebuild on the transmission had a 5K mi warranty...mechanic told me to bring it back after 5K mi to make sure everything was ok, which I already did, and he said it was ok. When I told him about check engine sign & starting problem, he ran the codes for check engine sign (which of course, was not on when I was there), and he said there was no problem.
How do I change the transmission fluid on a 2000 Jeep Cherokee Sport?
I don't feel like my car is 100% ok. Advice?

Will my winch mount for a 2000 Silverado 1500 fit on a 2004 Silverado 1500?
The first thing is make sure your charging system is OK and your battery is good as well as the starter motor. Go to another garage, even if the light happens to be off when you go in, there is still a code stored in the computer. Have it scanned by a reputable garage and they can give you an idea of what is going on. It could be so many things that trigger that check engine light and sooner or later you will be stranded if it's not taken care of.More Questions & Answers ...
