Question:
Anybody let a car sit for 6 months, then run it, how much water do you think got into the gas and how did it run? my car is running rough, putting out water (not coolant) from both pipes (it's a true dual exhaust) even when hot. '73 chevy 350.

How to locate and change a PCM on Honda Accord?
where u live? cold places, condensation in the pipes makes water come out, for quite a while too. and if thats your problem get some iso-heet same brand as heet but it works betterShould I change sparkplugs/air filter based on months or miles?
The water from the pipes is most likely from condensation in the pipes themselves. If the gas tank was full when you let it set, it has very little likelihood of getting water in the gas.Whats the best $600 I can spend on gettng the most performance?
Always try to keep your tank full for that reason. that way. condensation in the gas tank won't be a problem.
Car Security Alarm Instalation.?
it is just condinsation in the exhaust. if the engine is not missing i wouldnt worry about it, but if it is missing a bit just run a bottle of heat through the tank which you can purchase at your local parts store. but i bet it is just moisture in the exhaust blowing out.burn off that gas... refill with new gas. gas does go bad. change all fluids. things should run smother after you do that. unless there is something wrong with it.

all cars get water in the exhaust.water from any exhaust in any type of weather is normal. h2o is a bi product from the burning of air and fuel, along with hydro carbons. its all chemical reaction. nothing to worry about, its normal. and i let my car sit all winter. no water gets into the gas tank. my car is a 98 mustang gt and it too runs rough for a little while after it sat all winter. when i put fresh gas in though it always smoothes out cause gas gets old.not much because the tank is air tihgt
