i own a repair shop ,and usually when you can t find it on the out side, its on the inside of it in the heater box ,and this will probably be where the problem is on it,i have a 95 model and they was good for having hidden leaks,but try running the dye through it and using a black light on it,this is better for locating leaks with the dye,good luck i hope this helps.

If you used a uv system to try to find the leak, and haven't found one, you might not have a leak. Too much freon could make it not work, or the pressure switch on there might be bad. Your best bet is to take it in and have the high side and low side checked with gauges for this R-12, or 134-a system. Or they can use their hand held machine to sniff out the leak.
