These vehicles have a timing belt if the motor seems to be spinning fast it could be the timing belt. You can also tell by just looking through the oil fill cap look for the camshaft (if you dont know what it looks like look it up) then have someone try to start the vehicle it it turns. that is good news now the repair is not extreemly expensive. oh and yes the light should illuminate and turn off once running it means the computer has the control to turn it on and off (no electrical short or problem)More Questions & Answers ...
