yes it sounds like water is in it. check the coolant for oil. You may have a big problem. blown head gasget or worse.yes! it sounds like the coolant and oil are mixing which is a sign of a major problem! see a shop asap! I wouldn't even drive it- I would have it towed because it could cause serious engine damage
hideaway headlight is stuck closed on my 84 thunderbird can i open it manually?
I agree with all of the above. Most likely cause is a cracked engine block, sorry about your luck.I'd definitely take it back to the dealer.
How can i remove speed limiter from a V.W. Crafter van (uk), currently factory set at 85kph?
Yes change your oil and after a week check it again if it green in color again you could have a leak from the coolant into the oil.that means you have a bad intake manifold gasket and it needs to be replaced if you had the car less than a month you may be able to get money back check with you bbb.If i need a new rim because it is bent, does it do me any good to get the alignment done 1st?
If it isn't anti-freeze/coolant than here is my thoughts. When heavy equipment is built and sold, they put dye in each of the lubricants. Engine oil is dyed a different color than differential oil, as is the transmission and so forth. They do this so that when the vehicle develops a leak, they can tell where the leak is coming from. They may have started doing that in the auto industry, but don't quote me on this. If it is thick, like you say?!? Usually when you have coolant in the oil it looks white and milky, water and oil do not mix. I would say a quick call to the dealer is in order. It is new and under warranty and they should look at it for free. Don't let them give you the run around, demand the answers you need and if they say they checked it and it is nothing to worry about, make them give you that statement in writing, because later on, it could come back to haunt you. But do call them, and maybe even get a second opinion of another qualified mechanic to confirm what they say.More Questions & Answers ...
