Transmission issues 98' S-10 Pickup?

Question:
I have a 98 S-10 that is having some issues but I don't know what they are and I'm almost afraid to find out. When you first start going in the morning and it's cold out, it's like the truck takes forever to shift gears. Then once it warms up it will run ok for a bit then around an idle speed of 35-40 it tends to not jerk hard, but still jerk like it's trying to figure out which gear to be in. Then...at 55+ it will run ok for a while and then it goes all weird like it's working HARD to be in the gear...like going up a hill and it stays like that. What is going on here? It's never had a flush or anything, we've been told to do that?

Are there any good places to have my oil pan in my Firebird cleaned out?

First thing to check is the fluid level. Then the filter. Next, and it sounds loopy. but check the mass air flow sensor. Next check out the vaccum control module. You'll have to take it to a shop for that but you can look to see if the hose is loose or off before you take it in.
They're gonna try to tell you that it needs a rebuild but balk at that unless you can see metal flakes in the fluid yourself.

pug 106 camshaft and air flow.?

Sounds like transmission issues. Check the fluid, add if it's low. That's about all you can do. If not, or that doesn't solve it, take it in and it looked at.

can i get some car help?

did you check fluid level...fill it... then drive to shop for expert opinion... it only costs more if you wait...I just got a tranny rebuilr for my 99 S10 for 1300 dollars. I have "fixed" several trannys by adding fluid.

After I drive my car it smells like sulphur, why?

There's a filter in the tranny pan that may be plugged.

Ever tried to suck a milkshake through a straw?
That's what it's like for the transmission trying to circulate fluid if the filter is clogged.
