When I release my clutch when the car is started it makes these noises and feels rough. It wont let me put it into gears and if I try to put it in a gear the car idles down and cuts off. Can someone tell me if my clutch is going out or could it be something minor. Thanks for anyone who answers. Oh and if you need anymore information just let me know and ill put it up. Thanks!

Sounds like your slave cylinder, or master cylinder are having troubles. Check your fluid in the resevoir, if it is good, its your slave cylinder, if not, then it could be a leaky master cylinder.I want to learn more about my cars engine?
Best of Luck!
it could be a clutch most generally if it is ,the clutch wont let you get into the selected gear.clutch linkage could also be a problem.a worn out throw out bearing, but if the engine slows and tries to die the problem could be transmission..but you might also have the e-brake on.
If the gears won't engage, the clutch is about to go real soon. Check all your fluids and lines to make sure there are no leaks.
