Question:
fuel pump,and ignition system check out fine. at time you can put car in neutral and all begins to work fine. Might go for a month or so, get out and kill car,come back and try to start car and no fuel pump and no fire to plugs.

you could rewire shut off switch on clutch pedal being you didn't say what kind of tranny. take to parts house and plug it in to see whats going on
