I have a 1993 Nissan Sentra. Tonight, after parking, there seemed to be a smell of gas coming from it. Looked beneath, saw very small stain, no visible leaking. But the smell is definitely gas. Do I need a new tank? Can I seal it? How do I find the leak? I know it's a 1993, but there's only 94,000 miles on it and i'd like to keep it. Thanks!

yes you can seal it and you can find the leak but you will have to clean it first so you can find it. you can get a kit to fix it at you auto store.how come when you get out of your car and touch the metal exterior to shut the door, it shocks you?
Did you just fill the tank? If you did, and you kept clicking on the gas pump handle, you could have overfilled the tank. If so, the smell will eventually go away.how do I change my fuel filter please?

either send to mechanic or if you are mechanicly inclined get under and look for leak if you see one use J.B. weld to fix it or you might need to replace it
