No spark on my 87 Ford F-150, 5L engine.?
Best engine oil depends on your car type and the climate where you live. Synthetic oils are the best for your engine. But again check out what is best for your car. For example: In older cars (old Porsches) you don't want to use synthetics because it will eat away at your engines seals. Check in your cars manual to see recommended type of trans. fluid. Buy cheap antifreeze it is all the same. How much power steering fluid do I need?
The best depends on what vehicle you're putting it in - for example, BMW makes a transmission fluid that you never have to change, but it's only recommended for BMW's -Mondeo tdi saloon 2002 cross member mounting?
I personally don't think synthetics are worth the premium you pay.
My car wont start just got a new fuel pump what else could be wrong?
the best antifreeze is any old green stuff couse more than likely thats wat was in it befor, you cant mix two colors of antifreeze for some reason, again any tranny fluid is good too, but watever you do, DO NOT use pensoil for motor oil-one of the ingredients is parrafin wax, (THATS CANDLE WAX!!!!!) DO NOT USE!!!!! you would get the same affect if you melted a candle in your crank case (just, faster) you will eventualy blow valves, your piston rings will ware out, your lifters will stick, your just setting yoursef up for failure.Would performance rotors work with standard brakes?
The very best engine oil, in my experience is made by Schaeffer's Specialized Lubricants (www.schaefferoil.com). The also make an unbeatable ATF. The reason is the formulation and additive package, that also contains molybdenum disulfide. With the Moly additive, you will never again get metal to metal contact. The ATF has a very special friction modifier, also. They are both sythetic blends, although pure sythetic oils are available. The oils are made from 100% pure paraffin base stock, with poly alaolifin (sp?) sythetics. This makes a very unique molecular structure. I am not a chemist, but it really works. SIDEBAR: The paraffin oil base IS NOT THE SAME AS CANDLE WAX!How to take off a steering wheel on a 1996 Toyota Corolla?
in my car i use pennzoil high mileage motor oil, because its for high mileage vehicles and it dont break down under heat, and tranny oil,you can use any tranny oil,as long as its for what its calls for,for your car,and anti-freeze,i use prestone, because its good for fighting rust and corrosion in the cooling system.to the guy that does not like Pennzoil, it is actually one of the cleaner oils out at this point, i run it in all three of my cars and i have not had an issue yet, and yes i do indeed do my own repairs. Pennzoil is now and has been for about 5+ years based on the "pure base molecule," who told you about the paraffin wax idea, that theory was started in the 60s or 70s. now you are going to tell me that it gets dirty when you run the engine. well, when you do dishes at home, you start out with a clean sink, but it also gets dirty, right, that is a good thing. it means that the oil in the engine is doing what you wanted it to
