d4- drive 4th gear- (recommended) normal forward operation, will allow the car to get up to 4th gear
d3- drive 3rd gear- normal forward operation, will allow the car to get up to 3rd gear
2- will only get up to 2nd gear, dont drive your car fast in this gear
1- will only allow the car to stay in 1st gear, only for uphills
if you don't know what they mean than perhaps you shouldn't be driving. Figure it out before attempting to move the vehicle for the safety of all around you.
