If the gas stations you go to are owned by franchisees then you may not really be pumping "Shell" gas when you pump at Shell so it all depends but from my experience Sunoco and Shell have given me the best gas mileage. My Ford Focus idle rough only when the temperature is below 40 degrees. No codes come up.?
All the same...go with the cheapest.Shell or bp gas because their gas cleans the engine and with a old care that can extend the life of the car. The gas is also high quality.
They are all about the same... unless you goto uncle bubbas gas and bait shop..
Gasoline is a commodity and so it is like asking what brand of sugar is the best. Gasoline is all the same with the exception of Octane ratings. Higher octane gasoline is designed for higher performance engines. Its that simple.

How much is the general cost to change the transmission fluid?
The brand doesn't matter. They all have to adhere to your state and local regulations on gasoline quality. I don't think any of them really give better than the stated regulations.Does this estimate sound reasonable for these car repairs?
I have two Toyota 6-cyls and they both get more miles on a tank and no "pinging" using BP gas. I buy Shell when I can't get to a BP station when traveling. There are those that would say there all the same but my vehicles seem to "like" the BP gas the best. I used to use Citgo but for some reason started to get the pinging from time to time but not now.More Questions & Answers ...
