Everytime I put my car in reverse and start backing up, I hear a clunk, clunk, as I back up. What could it be

stop yourself with your emergency brake while going slowly (idle speed) in reverse a couple of times. if that doesnt change anything, sounds like you have a transmission in need of some repairs. and dont expect that to be cheap. start saving.

could be a couple of things, depends on your car. if you car is rear wheel drive it could be your uv joints on the drive shaft, which is a cheap and easy fix. if its not that its a good chance its your transmition and if thats the case good luck
