The make, year. and model of your car would help people answer this question. Is it stalling out or just dying? It sounds like the alternator but could be a hundred other things. Check your spark plugs too.we have already talked about the missing info(nuff said)..is there a check engine light on the dash illuminated ? This could give you a clue..If there is get it scanned and get the codes..could be many things..guessing does you no good..
it could be a faulty sensor or alternator , take it to a shop and get it checked.
