I have a H2 Hummer with 40" tires an a 6" lift kit. My front left drive shaft has broken twice. Where do I find something stronger? How can I fix the problem? What is the problem?

What your going to have to do is go out and get a custom made Drive shaft made up for your car. If you cant get a custom shaft made then your just gonna have to drop the car an Inch or so.

Thats why. Look at what you got on that truck, and nothing to compensate for all that extra weight to try and rotate. Maybe to find something stronger, probably have to goto a 4x4 or off road shop that specializes in that sort of stuff.My pug 306 LX is reving WAY to high.?
I've seen U joints break, but never a drive shaft. If you are breaking drive shafts, I'd suggest removing both the 40" tires and the 6" lift kits.Where can I find a good websites for mods on my car??
I would assume your lift kit is putting extra stress on the driveshaft by putting the driveshaft at an awkward angle and really stressing the universal joint, you might see if you can get super heavy duty universal joints put on it.Whats the best way to get smudged paint off of a car?
40 inch tires and 6 inch lift is problem. it sounds like you are talking about axles to me because you are saying left side. If that is the case get a chromoly inner and outer shaft with ctm u-joints and that will hold for awhile. If you really abuse this truck you need to go to a dana 60 straight axle. If you are talking about drive shafts you might have to change the angle of shaft with a centrifical u-jointanytime you do a 6-in lift kit you have to rotate axles to compensate for angle difference
