Well chevy trucks started coming with fuel injection starting in 1987.If you believe you have a carburator on your vehicle(this isnt a factory piece)the choke would normally be on the passenger side of the carb.It is a round black cover.This is probably what it looks like----

if your looking at the carb from the front of the truck, it will be on the left of the carb..on the side...more then likely its an electric choke...you should see one wire hooked to it...how do you know its carbed?? and not fuel injected??

The choke is the little metal plate inside the throat of the carb. Move it with your finger and you'll see the linkages that it is connected to. On a 350 with a carb. Most 1991's have TBI. But that's where a choke is on a carb.

i don't think it's carburated. it's fuel injected (probably throttle body w/2 inj) there is no "choke" . it's all done with sensors and computer.
