Mine does the same thing. Ya just gotta hit it until the window is clear. Must be you have a Chevy?On some cars, the rear defroster turns off after a certain period of time, or when the window reaches a certain temp. Your owner's manual will tell you if yours is supposed to do that. If it isn't, get it repaired.
