A winter time question about cars?

Question:
It's winter time again, finally, for those of us in the eastern part of the country. My question is in regards to what causes the windows, on the inside of the car to frost up after driving it for a while? I can understand the outside, but what causes the inside? Is this being caused by the heating core to go out? Radiator going bad? There is no smell of antifreeze. Nor are there any wet spots under neith the car. Thanks for your input.

Engine oil?

haha That is just good old fashioned condensation. Like when your glass of ice water condensates in the summer... just reversed. Defrosters will help that.

Overheating cavalier?

just turn your defrosters on

What kind of fuel should I use on my brand new Honda Accord Coupe 4 cyl?

Could be heater core has a small leak, could be moisture in your car somplace. But it is some type of moisture problem, did you wash your carpet, clean the inside of your car latly?

When I drive my 92 Accod 90 and 110 kms/ hour, my steering vibrates. How can I fix this problem?

There is nothing wrong with your car. When you get in your car, you immedietely start warming up the interior air. When you turn on the heater it accelerates this process. When you have warm air on one side of a piece of glass and cold air on the other, moisture will condense on the warm side. After running your car's defroster for a while, the condensation goes away because the air becomes the same temperature on both sides of the glass. The defroster actually blows the same air on the outside of the windshield that it does on the inside, thereby creating a state of equilibrium and stopping the condensation. It works the same in hot climates where the windshield fogs up after having the AC running on a hot day. The outside of the windshield fogs up and only is cleared when you set the vent to defrost.
Cool huh, in a nerdy, "I knew that kind" of way?

how do you know of your car has thrown a rod?

Hello,

How do you fix a door on a 1998 Toyota Camry?

the humidity that comes out when you exhale, freezes on the inside of your windows. When you roll out, you windows are cold from the inside. Immediately after geting in and starting, turn your fans on and direct the air to the windows/windshields. The air will be cold, but that helps to cool down and dry out the exhaled air.
As you cruise, the heating starts to heat up the inside of the car, and the difference of the temperature of the exhaled air and the windows will be equalised, so there will be no condesation.

4l80e +transmissions?

You can also try paying attention that you don't exhale towards the windshield (e.g blowing air downwards). But try to stay alive ;D. Seriously, I'm also doing it this way and it works!

Car question - belt?

ABS LIGHT IS ON...Did the mechanic cause this?

if you run the a/c while you have it turned to defrost and the air set to hot, it will help with the condinsation.
