How would I find out the oil capacity for a 1988 Volvo 760 GLE Turbo without the manual? We bought it used?

Change the oil and filter. When you refill it, put in 4 quarts. Start it and run it for a minute or so. Stop it, and check the dipstick to see how much more you'll need. Or ask the dealer.
