How do you change the Coolant of a Nissan Exterra 2000?

Question:
I want to flush all the old coolant out and use new coolant.

Answers:

passing illinois auto emissions?

You start with a cold engine first. There is a drain plug on the radiator you unscrew, and that will remove most of the coolant...enough to get a nice fluid change done. When the fluid has come out completely, screw the plug back in and refill the radiator at the cap with a 50/50 mix of antifreeze/water. Once full, start the car, turn the heater on full blast, and watch the fluid level. It will drop a little. Just keeping filling it up until it doesn't sink anymore. It shoud take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes to complete.

my ute is 260kw can anyone convert this to horsepower?

I would do what Mark D said, but, once you drain all the coolant, if you want to get all of it out of the engine block, take out your thermostat, and disconnect the bottom radiator hose, and put a water hose to the port towards the engine, keep flushing till you get straight water coming out, then mix the coolant 65% coolant and 35% water, to pour back in.

Or the easiest way is to take it to a mechanic and have them flush it.
