how do i take of the emblems on my car?

Engine needs fuel, air, and spark to run. If check engine light is on, have someone check the error codes. Failing that, I check fuel side by using a can of starter fluid. Follow directions on the can. I check the spark side by removing a plug, and cranking engine with the plug grounded against the block [don't hold it with bare hand unless you like electric fences]. You should see a spark as the engine cranks.
