Question:
I have a 1999 Mazda Miata, manual transmission. Pretty old, has about 260,000 miles. It's being traded in very soon. There's a couple problems with it I was just wondering about: First, when I first take it out in the morning, and it's usually very cold, the gears always grind a little between 1st and 2nd. Once I drive it for awhile though, it goes away?? Also, it putts. A lot. Mainly out of 1-3rd gear. Any suggestions besides go ahead and get rid of it??
