Question:
Could any one shed some light into whats going on with my car. I have a 2000 Chrysler Concorde with 53000 miles on it. In the last couple days when I turn on the car and shift gears to drive the car really hesitates to move. I could see the RPM gauge shooting up but he vehicle not moving at all or moving really slow. If I leave the engine running until the engine temperature gauge is quarter ways up and I shift gears to drive the car moves fine. I havent experienced this at all when the weather is a lot warmer. I have checked the transmission fluid and it is not low at all. This started recently when the temperature has dipped below 30 degree F.

Thanks for any insight.
Answers:
Your transmission is going bad. It has little to do with the weather. The fluid pump is worn out. It will take longer to achieve the proper pressure when it is cold, but it is still worn out. Get two or three estimates before you have it replaced. Some of the transmission chain shops charge way too much.
You are probably on ice.
the fluids in your car are cold, trans oil,etc so until they warm up it will run slow,as it warms up it will get better.
