Good chance the spark plug/ignition wires are failing. You can test them with an Ohmmeter if you have one, otherwise a good start is a fresh set of wires. I had one that did the same thing in college, no one could figure it out. I tested all the wires, and they were faulty, solving the rough idle issue.

Try your cap and rotor. Make sure your plug wires are not leaking (if you still suspect its a spark issue) Check things like idle mixture, Timing.PCV, EGR
