Car W/O Keys!!?

How much does it cost to install a new ignition w/ new keys? There is a car being sold at an auction but it does not have keys.

Car would not start...?

All you have to do is take the title in to the dealership to show proof of ownership. Then the can input the VIN number into the computer and cut you a new set of keys. You don't need to change the cylinder.

If the car is fairly new, it will probably cost quite a lot of money as there will be anti-theft equipment on the car which has to be addressed. There is quite a bit of labour involved in replacing ignition cylinders in steering columns or in dashboards as this is the first line of defence for theft.
