are railroad crossings bad for a cars alignment and suspension??
Freezing rain could in some situations cause the door plunger to stick. The bulb can drain your battery. I would remove the interior bulb to stop it from happening. Then after the weather is cleared up, replace the bulb and see if the problem goes away.I have a 1997 plymouth grand voyager that you have to try to start a 100 times before it starts.?
Look in the handbook....how much would it cost to have my engine replaced on a 1998 Chevy Metro (1.0 liter 3 cylinder)?
Maybe the wiring is corroded in the fuse box and there are wires touching. Yes, it can wear down your battery but not by much. It is more draining to leave a radio on all night rather than a 1 watt light bulb. Check the fuses.what can i use or purchase that will remove light scratches from the body of my car?
i would look for the fuse and disconnect it.if the light has no fuse per se, unscrew the cover and remove the light bulb (watch for small shocks).

do you think a Mercedes is a good car?
If your head light switch is a pull out knob, try twisting it!There is a short some where in the wiring. Bring your car to Auto-electric shop. In the mean time take the bulbs out.
if you turn your headlight switch and it is suppose to turn out then your headlight switch is bad.
after chaging the timing belt?
You have probably got a frozen switch. Could be ice or could just be corrosion and dirt in the switch. If thawing it out - try a hair dryer- doesn't solve the problem you will need to take to a mechanic. Yes, if the light stays on all the time, it can drain your battery, or at least weaken it.how much would it cost me to restore my '84 Monza?
Yes it will drain your battery. You have a stuck door switch. When the door is closed the switch is on open position, when door is opened the switch closes.turning on the light. Spray it with WD 40 and push round plunger in a few times. If you don't see a switch it is up by the door hinges, if no switch is foiund it's in the wiring of the door ajar. You can pull the fuse if you can't keep the light from staying on, untill you can get it fixed. Some dome lights have a switch on them also, you might check.Donna:
Yes it will drain the battery, and it will not start then. No it can not come on by itself. Worst thing is you could have a short but not much of a chance of that unless someone worked on it before. Check your switches sometimes they are a little tricky. Make sure all your doors are closed tight, interior light switch is off. What type of car, some times some cars you push on the light itself (really a switch) Look in your owners manual
