I s my car possessed or is anyone else having the same problem?

I have a 2001 Peugeot 206, the right indicator is randomly coming on by itself, I know the obvious answer may be an electrical fault but I dont want to spend the money on a mechanic if there is another explaination. I know that if my door isn't closed properly the interior light flashes and the radio bleeps. Is my beloved Puggy trying to tell me something or is it just sick?

This is known as unknown weirdo problems which has no answer in theory. Better is open the steering cap, And unsrew the steering screw in the center and take out the steering (If its hard to take out then keep knocking hard on left and right side one by one to make some play and then pull it off with good force) then open indicator lever shaft halfway until the point where you can understand to fix it back. And spray some WD40 or any alcohol based cleaner with pressure and then leave it for 5 - 10 min and see. It must be coz of wrong fitting, or may be due to some uncleaned state inside the circuit which will get clean with wd40 and remove any unwanted substance. Car never get possesed so dont worry. Take it easy. Happy new year.
