Why do the small bulbs burn out? (88 corolla)?
I don't use Rain X's brand of anti-fog product, but another brand. I'm not sure if it is comparable, but it works great, and if there is an interior haze on the windshield, it's minimal, and clears off very fast once the defrost is on. The only drawback is that every time you clean your windows you have to reapply, but that's not really that big of a deal. While on the subject of Rain X...I do use their wipers, and after all of the wipers I have had (I have been driving for 14 years), they are the absolute best of all, even the very pricey ones. They are impregnated with the product, and when there is a steady rain on and you are going above 30, the rain falls off and there is not a need to even use your wipers. I have even converted my husband and father from using the expensive wipers to these. And for my father, that is saying something, because he restores antique and older sports cars as a hobby...the man knows more about cars than I ever will. If you ever get a chance to try them, I highly recommend. Take care! :)
Is it truly necessary to change the oil on my 01 Camry every 3,000 or can I wait up to 5,000 miles?
yes, rainx stuff works good for uswhat solvent do i use in my parts washer?
We have used Rain X products on our windshields and I love them. It beads up the moisture so well on the outside that I have no doubt it would be a great product for the inside, too. We have recommended the regular windshield cleaner to several of our friends. The one that liked it the best really needed it the most. Her wipers were broken and she just sprayed it on with a bottle mister and she was able to put off buying blades for a while. Dumb, yes, effective, yes!Popping noise and sluggish v6?
We use the Rain-x on the outside of our vehicles and love it but, we had a Chrysler 5th Av. that seemed to fog up more than other vehicles that we owned so we tried the Fog-x. It seemed to make the windshield look like it had something on it like an oily substance. Especially at night meeting oncoming cars. We removed it and never tried it again.... Maybe we weren't doing something right...More Questions & Answers ...
