Question:
Seen by my local mechanic & tested - fault prob caused by bad fuel. Fault light back on dashboard 10 days later. Taken it to a Vauxhall dealer, who says its the main oxygen sensor. Trouble code PO136. On report it says it is sensor 2. They have led me to believe it is a problem with the main sensor, which needs replacing & have quoted me a repair of large cost.
Who knows where this is located.?
Get my fuel from Morrisons or Tesco in the South West region. Any ideas on how to investigate if it is faulty fuel? Surprised that the expensive warranty I have with the car does not cover oxygen sensors!
How do i weld my atv rim im trying to relocate my valve stem?
Any answers very gratefully received, or if anyone has had the same problem and has any advice.
Windsheild wiper is all over the place?
Many thanks
Answers:
your car may have another problem like the coil pack that sits on the spark plugs, this can give a faulty reading to engine management and oxygen sensors.
but if it is that fuel (unlikely as its mainly the east that got it)
get ya local man to sort it
Buick Regal 1991 question!PLEASE HELP!?
They did drain the tank and fuel system didn't they? If not it will reoccur. If you got your receipt, write to Tesco and they will pay for your repairs (once) the garage that failed to drain your fuel system should pay for the other.
