The lights on my car look dry and not shiny anymore how can i make them look like new again?

Had the same problem on mine so I talked to an auto body instructor. He told me to wet sand it with a really fine sand paper no less than 200 grit. Don't do if you don't feel comfortable doing it. You take a sponge and wet it let the water trickle down the lens as you sand it sand side to side not in a circle. When it looks better stop wash the light down and wax it. Did it too mine it made an improvement. Do not use on glass lenses.

Rocks and dirt hit the plastic on lights and pit them and cause them to loose their shine.

The lenses have "fogged" over. It is not worth cleaning them. Replace them.

Hard to say if the lenses (the molded plastic pieces with the reflectors in them) need cleaning or if you need new bulbs. Replacement bulbs will cost you $20.00 to $30.00, and it's next to impossible to clean the insides of the lenses, so the only other alternative is to try cleaning the outsides of the lenses with something that works on plastic.

IPD is selling this product to owners of older Volvos with the aero styled headlights such as '86 - '93 240 series. This product may not be compatible with newer type lenses. I used to have an '85 Volvo and thought about purchasing this product to use on the taillights, but they got cracked first so I had to replace them. I never got around to purchasing this product, so I can't tell you how well it would or would not work. Prior to purchase I would suggest emailing IPD and asking them if it can be used on modern lenses.
