Cost of auto mechanic service?
if steam is comming from your radiator cap then you need to replace your radiator cap, but you'll need to check the level of the coolant in the radiator so your not running on no coolant. and change your oil because by now it's getting ready to start burning and thats bad...Dirt and grease on the engine warming up get it steam cleaned
Getting heated up because of you. Ask someone else to use it.
where can i find an alternator wiring diagram for 84 camaro?
Steam and the smell escaping from your cooling system indicates you have a leak somewhere...It could be a damaged hose, a loose hose bracket, a faulty radiator cap.
Could be a small hole in your radiator.
Could also indicate a bad water pump.
Do you see any water leaking from under your car?
The obvious answer that you'll hear from everyone else here is:
"Have a mechanic check it out."
Unfortunately for us, cars don't fix themselves without human intervention.
Is there a Renault laguna diognostic tool?
There could be a couple of things going on here. First, you should probably replace the radiator cap. This is relatively cheap and could save you more expensive repairs in the future. Make sure you change it when the engine is completely cold. Second, check the hose that leads from the radiator fill area to the coolant tank. The radiator cap is designed to let excess pressure bleed coolant off into the tank, and let it suck the coolant back into the radiator as it cools. You want to make sure your tank is filled to the appropriate line (it should have a "full cold" line and probably a "full hot" line as well... it's best to check it when cold). If you have too much coolant in the tank, excess fluid can drain out of the tank's overflow. If you have too little, you have been having coolant leak and you need to add some (to the plastic tank). This is where you need to check the hose and make sure it's not leaking. If it leaks, you could be losing coolant and getting air sucked into the radiator. How do you get rid of rust on your car bonnet?
If your coolant is consistently dropping and you have to keep adding it, even though you don't see any coolant on the ground, then you probably have a coolant leak internal to the engine (typically a cracked gasket somewhere). You need to get this fixed as soon as possible as if you wait too long, you will end up needing a new engine. I speak from experience, here, unfortunately.
