Question:
I have a Nissan Pathfinder 1991 3.0 4WD. Recently, the electrics have been going kookookaka. I am curious what it could be. The battery is new as are the battery connections. All electrics in the cars work fine but when i go to turn the ignition there is nothing.

Why causes the serpentine belt to squeal when it rains?
Do you hear a clicking noise when you turn the key?If not,it is probably not the battery and likely not the alternator. It sounds like the starter. You will probably need a new one.It will be the starter motor or an immobiliser fault if there is one on the vehicle.
More than likely the starter.
The alternator is for charging the battery not starting the vehicle.
How do I remove chewing gum from on of the seats in my car?

get new cablesmy new pontiac is adding milage after i turn it on?
As far as common items go:If you get in your car and turn on your headlights, are they bright? If not, then your battery is probably bad and you should get both the battery and your charging system checked (go to Sears, they do it, at least in my area, for free)..
If the lights are good, and you turn the key, do you hear any noise? If not, then your starter should be checked. Find it and give it a whack with a wooden stick (don't smack the he** out of it, just thump it).
If the car cranks but doesn't turn over, it could be a multitude of problems. Spark plugs are probably not the culprit, as more than a few would have to go bad to have the problem you are describing.
Check that the battery is grounded properly (the cable going from the neg. terminal to the engine block or the frame).
Sounds like your starter is no good, Also, if before you had to have your vehicle in the park or neutral position to start, the on/off safety switch (i forgot the name) may be bad.The best bet is to go to like an automotive shop and buy a HAYNES automotive book for your year and model car. I think they run around $15. I had problem with my Chevy as it would not start. I used the book to find that one of the cables had an in-line fuse, which I NEVER had heard about, and was shorted out for whatever reason. I did not know the the old Chevy I had, had in line fuses on the starter cable. I know about cars and this was a first for me. Anyway, the book helped out tremendously

Just replaced rotors and pads, car still vibrates and loud moaning noise?
i dont know about the spark plugs. if you try to turn your car on and the radio and lights come on and it doesnt start then it might be your battery. If your altenator was bad then the alternator would drain the battery and you wouldnt get any radio or lightsIs it ok to drive my 01 yukon 36 hrs straight for 2200 miles or should i take rests for the truck?
