Question:
i had to stop like 7 time because my car was over heating. weird thing was it was happening very fast. i started the car in the morning. left it for about 2 minutes and when i got in it was fine(temp) then about 3 blocks from my house the gage jumped too the red zone. pulled over and let it cool down. went again bout 2 miles this time and over heating again. so i kept driving and stopping driving and stopping every few miles. i though cars took a long time to over heat... like sitting in traffic and driving long trips... i work 10-13 miles from home and took me 2 hours to get there. normaly its 20 min trip . also when i stopped to let the car cool. i would turn the car completely off and it would be making this loud banging noise like someone was hitting my engine with a bat! as it would cool the sound would get quieter and quieter. and once i got real close to work it was like gurgling. and it died. got it towed to grandpas and he said it started but they havent looked at it yet HELP

Water Tempature!!1. Check the Water level. If the water resivore is empty you need water coolant.
2. Diving you car like you did is a NO NO. you may overheated the mortor and the heat will make something brake.
3. Sounds like you have a bad belt Or could be the water pump running dry and busted a baring or somethng else is wrong and don't know what is could be.

Can anyone tell me where the fuel filter is located on a 1989 Chevy Caprice 305?
Sounds like you have no coolant in the system, as from stated from the gargling noise (the coolant is boiling because there is air present). Take it to a trusted garage, have it towed to be safe, and have them preform a pressure test. There has to be a leak in the system if there is no/low coolant in the system. The pressure test will pressurize the system and anywhere there is a leak the fluid will be forced out revealing it so the technician knows where the leak is. Strongly suggest getting this looked at or the car will not last very long, and you said that it died on you. You may have already overheated your engine to the point of damaging it. With that being said, it may not be worth fixing. Have a mechanic look at it diagnose the problem and the solution.what equipment will I need to manufacture brake pads and friction products?

Need to know if throttle is sticking or trans needs work. HELP?
You have better be careful. Check you radiator or coolant reservoir. If they are full then you have a blown head gasket or even worse a cracked head. If that is the case don't drive it any more until it is fixed cause you can do irreversible damage to the engine which would be a worse fix to do money wise!!! Let me know what happens. Is a Hex key the same thing as a Torx key? :((?
It sounds terminal, well close anyway. I would guess your thermostat is seized or your water pump isn't pumping or your radiator was empty. No water flow makes an engine VERY HOT, VERY QUICK. The banging noising you heard would have been the metal parts of the engine contracting after being SO HOT. Engines don't like to get HOT, The cylinder head/s will warp (leak) and blow the head gasket/s. The steel in the rings and bores loses its temper and becomes brittle allowing heaps of oil to get past. RESULT: no power, heaps of smoke and maybe steam. You will probably get away with new rings and big end bearings and head service as well as the original problem(pump thermostat?). The "gurgling" you heard was probably the oil boiling in the sump because it got SO HOT. I would be looking for a new engine if it were my car.Can you help diagnose my car's weird cooling system issue?
sounds like you came dangerously close to destroying your engine................there are many thing,s to check .....be sure you have plenty of coolant....then check, belt,s,hose,s,water pump function,thermostat,radiator[f... leak,s], radiator cap, cooling fan,s..............have your cooling system pressure tested [radiator cap also],temperature sender,& have your computer checked for trouble code,s..........the loud knocking & gurgling sound,s come from coolant being boiled to steam......have your entire engine checked for leak,s.....hope you didnt crack your block!1984 Oldmobile Cutlass Supreme Heater & Rear Defronster Not Working?
given the story i would say blown head gaskets.I wouldn't necessarily say head gasket yet. What I WOULD say is that you have one of several possible issues.
About how much does it cost To get a wing/spoiler painted?
1. Thermostat is stuck shut. (Most likely)
2. the belt on your water pump is no longer there. (It happens.)
3. coolant leak.
Where can I find the Bikes Technical Information?
As with all automobile issues, you start with the cheapest thing first. :D
sounds like blown head gaskets and depending on engine size it could cost around 1200 dollars to fix but make sure they change the thermostat too, the banging sound was water boiling but hey its a ford if you can afford the repairs it will run for ever but i wouldnt drive it anymore untill its fixed
