FUEL INJECTOR AND CARBOURATOR Cleaner, is this good for your car?
Difficult to answer. Is yours doing odd things? Some of them show no signs and just catastrophically fail. Others can be hard to shift into gears, or (on automatics) not shift into certain gears. Some can smoke, or smell funny. If you are worried about yours, take it to a reputable shop near you and have them check it out, and if you have doubts of their sincerity, take it to a different shop and have them check it too. Good Luck!If the transmission will not shift up smoothly, or it seems like the engine in running faster before it shifts (under normal acceleration) this could be a sign that either the transmission needs service or is just getting low in transmission fluid. However, if the transmission clunks or jerks when shifting this could be a sign of major mechanical problems with either the transmission or the engine mounts. Sometimes an engine mount will break or come unscrewed from the engine (an easy thing to fix). My advice - check the transmission fluid level before you do anything else (this is a little dipstick, just like with the engine oil). Do this with after driving 10-15 mils (to warm everything up) and with the engine running and the the car in park - if there is no driver's manual that explains how to check. The fluid should be a dull wine red color and shouldn't smell "burnt". There will be a line or dot that shows the full and add marks. G'luck
I have a code 1870 and check trans light on my isuzu, any idea what the code is?
the transmission depends on what type it is.. FWD or RWD. FWD get noise and it takes longer for it to drop in gear and when shifting, they either jerk real hard or have a long shift, and some won't come back out of overdrive when stopping and some loose reverse first, But this is the thing.. most all the newer cars, the shifting is controlled by the computer..If you check engine light on..Tell me what is going on and I will help you...Does the AIR INTAKE VORTEX add-ons work...are they worth the money for better MPG & HP?
