If it enough moisture it will heave and push the black top UP cracking and breaking the pavement then the cars running over it will pull the loose Blacktop out of the hole and there ya go..This is why you see the guys in the trucks sealing cracks in the fall.. Then you ask why don't they use something else, in reality the black color absorbs heat and dries much faster that concrete. A concrete surface is at least 15 Deg F cooler than a black top
