I own an 1985 ford ranger and the was smoke comin out of the valve cover and when i would put an oil cap on it ,it would blow the dip stick out and spray oil and now it wouln't start and there is somthing inside bangin around it sounds like its comin from the bottom of the engine wht could it be?

My guess would be your motor has died. Could be many different things. Might be a spun bearing, bent rod, bad oil pump, broken piston skirt, or even a major part broken off rattling around.
